Metering pump ORLITA® MfS: the multi-purpose, multi-tasking solution

The hydraulic diaphragm metering pump ORLITA® MfS from ProMinent is a multi-purpose solution with a host of benefits: flexibility, power, safety, accuracy and suitability for harsh offshore conditions in the oil and gas industry.

Multi-tasking with multiple dosing heads

ORLITA® MfS is a modular solution. The power end, crank drive and MfS pump head can be combined in any way, allowing the operator to build the exact pump needed for a particular application. Because one power end can drive several pump heads at the same time, one single pump can handle different chemicals and feed rates at different pressures.

Smart hydraulics for maximum precision

The inside of the ORLITA® MfS also offers concrete benefits. The diaphragm is actuated solely by a hydraulic fluid that circulates in the valve-free hydraulic system. This ensures virtually wear-free operation and delivers a very high metering precision of ± 0.5 % because the diaphragm is actuated precisely without rebound and moved to exactly the required position. The self-cleaning conical valves, which prevent deposits, and the use of stainless steel for all product contact parts make the level of wear on the hydraulic diaphragm metering pump very low. The pump also has an exceptional suction capacity of 0–30,000 l/h per pump head with a suction lift of up to 8 metres.

Safety by design, options by choice

For operating safety the feed chemical is hermetically sealed from the hydraulic system and the pump also has a relief valve with automatic bleed valve and a PTFE double diaphragm with rupture warning system. Other options include remote-controlled stroke adjustment for ease of operation, heatable and coolable pump heads and various special materials for product contact parts.
