REMONDIS completes its purchase of XERVON.
Purchase of the industrial service provider effective from 01 April 2011
05.12.21011 + + + Following the closing of the transaction on Wednesday, 30 November 2011, REMONDIS has now fully completed its purchase of the XERVON Group from ThyssenKrupp. XERVON is now a part of the REMONDIS Group, effective from 01 April 2011, and will be closely connected to the industrial service provider, Buchen, which also belongs to REMONDIS.
Following the takeover by REMONDIS, XERVON will be able to further expand its range of services and thus generate growth. The independence of the XERVON brand shall remain unaffected by the purchase. The company will be run under the name XERVON GmbH within the REMONDIS Group.
Thomas Breitkopf, a board member of REMONDIS AG & Co. KG, stressed, “We are really pleased to have found this perfect strategic addition for our area of industrial services. The integration of XERVON into the REMONDIS Group will mean that XERVON will become the first fully integrated service provider for the industrial sector in Germany.
