Siemens Energy Oil & Gas Customer Magazine "Venture"
Now Available as a Tablet App

"Venture", the customer magazine of the Oil & Gas Division of Siemens Energy, is now available as an App for the iPad and other tablets in both the Apple App Store and the Android App Store. "Venture" is intended for international decision-makers in the oil and gas industry as well as in industrial power generation. An App version of "Living Energy", the customer magazine for the Energy sector, has been available since May 2012.

In comparison to the printed version, the Venture App is enhanced with audio statements, film interviews, image galleries, e-dossiers and animated graphics. The design concept is based on the principle of easy and intuitive operation. The existing print layout has been adapted to tablet screens. "Tablet computers will be the key medium for obtaining information in the future. The new Venture App takes this into account, and appeals to new user groups", remarked Jan-Peter Schwartz, Corporate Vice President Energy Communications, Siemens AG.

In terms of content, "Venture" presents customers of the Oil & Gas Division and their projects. The magazine also informs customers about the latest technical innovations.
