AllessaChemie GmbH and UCP Chemicals AG
sign a mutual marketing agreement in the field of Oilfield Products
06.12.2011 + + + In September UCP Chemicals AG and AllessaChemie GmbH established the basis for the cooperation in the field of products used in the oil and gas production. The high performance polymers of AllessaChemie for use in fracturing applications and
enhanced oil recovery under harsh conditions like extreme temperatures and very high salinities will be marketed together with the resin-coated proppants of UCP chemicals. The polymers, marketed under he trade name Allessan®, and the proppants, available under the trade name NORDPROP®, improve the production of oil and gas and complement each other in this application very well.
UCP Chemicals will take over the marketing of the products in Russia and GUS and in return AllessaChemie will sell the oilfield products in Europe, NAFTA and the Gulf States. AllessaChemie is a competent partner for production of fine and special chemicals in Frankfurt am Main. With more than 800 employees, a training centre with more than 65 apprentices and sales of about 200 Mio. Euro, AllessaChemie is one of the biggest industrial companies in Hessen.
On the basis of a dynamic growth strategy, UCP Chemicals based in Vienna belongs to the market leaders in the Russian chemicals industry. As one of the most important producers of specialty resins, the company benefits from the unique locational advantage at ChemPark Tagil (Nizhniy Tagil/Ural) due to the closeness to basic raw materials like oil and gas. With 1.400 employees UCP realizes sales of about 100 Mio. Euro.
