Strategic Partnership
Gastech adds a dedicated
Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Zone to its industry leading event in Singapore.

dmg :: events (global energy) and NGV Global announce partnership (for dmg
:: events’ flagship show Gastech Singapore, 27 – 30 October 2015) to
deliver the ideal forum to discuss the commercial opportunities within the
expanding Asian NGV market.
The strategic decision
to introduce an NGV Zone will showcase the latest technological advances
and highlight the increased flexibility to use natural gas within
transportation.
Recently released statistics show that half the
world’s NGV’s and stations are in Asia with growth in both averaging 20%
per annum. Navigant Research in a recent report, also predicted that by
2022 Medium and Heavy- Duty Vehicles (M-HDVs) powered by natural/methane
gas could reach 3.7 million units (up from 2.09 million in December 2013)
and 76.2% of the market for buses and trucks will be in Asia.
With the key growth
markets based in Asia, the partnership between NGV Global and Gastech
Singapore will connect suppliers and buyers within NGV. Attendees at the
event include over 400 VIPs who represent some of the world’s biggest
companies and key government officials who decide future energy policies.

NGV companies will
network, showcase technology and secure business across the whole
international gas community by helping decision makers understand how NGV
can positively impact their business commercially and environmentally.
With over 50,000
square metres of exhibition space and 20,000 visitors and decision makers,

eager to learn about NGV.
The dedicated zone and
Presentation Theatre will house NGV Centres of Technical Excellence
(CoTEs). These free-to-attend seminars are dedicated to delivering
knowledge and awareness of technological developments and applications and
will offer exclusive content curated by experts from NGV Global and
Gastech. It will showcase the latest practical implications of NGV
technology and commercial opportunities, and is supported by dedicated
networking areas to facilitate dialogue.
